A demonic hellhound, rigged and animated. Charred black hide split by glowing lava cracks, horns, a spined back and a flaming tail. Made for dungeons, hell levels and fire bosses.

Animation — 16 clips at 30 fps

• Gaits: idle, walk, trot, gallop, turn left/right, plus root-motion walk, trot and gallop
• Combat: growl (a threat loop), bite, pounce (and a root-motion pounce), hit, death
• Howl
• Loops are seamless; every clip passes a floor-contact check, so paws stay on the ground

Rig

• 35 bones with clear names (spine_02, neck_01, tail_03, forearm_L …)
• IK-friendly legs: shoulder blade, upper arm, forearm, pastern and toes; thigh, calf, hock and toes
• Jaw, ears and a mouth_socket bone for bite, howl or breath effects; root motion on the root bone
• The same rig on the Dire Wolf, Warg and Hellhound, so one animation setup drives the whole pack

Textures & files

• 4K base colour and normal (OpenGL and DirectX); 2K roughness, metallic and AO
• Pre-packed ORM (Unreal), MetallicSmoothness and MaskMap (Unity)
• FBX, GLB, .blend (all actions in the NLA), an LOD FBX, PNG textures, previews and a README

Tested

Imported and checked in Godot 4.7 and Blender 5.2. The README has Unity and Unreal notes.

Licence

Use it in any number of commercial or personal games, films and renders, with no royalties. Modify it freely. Don't resell or redistribute the asset itself. The full licence is in the zip.

How it was made

The base mesh and textures were generated with Meshy (paid commercial plan). Literock Studios made the rig, skin weights, all 16 animations and the LODs with custom tools.
